International privacy and supported markets notice

This notice supplements Forkin's Privacy Policy. It explains the additional rights and safeguards we apply when Forkin is used in our main launch markets.

Forkin is operated by Eutopix Labs P.S.A. The person responsible for privacy and personal information protection can be contacted at privacy@forkin.io. This address handles GDPR, UK GDPR, Swiss FADP, US consumer health data, Canadian PIPEDA/provincial, Australian Privacy Act, New Zealand Privacy Act, Brazil LGPD, Mexico LFPDPPP/ARCO, Japan APPI, South Korea PIPA, Singapore PDPA, Hong Kong PDPO, Taiwan personal-data, Israel privacy, priority Latin American, and South Africa POPIA requests.
EEA, United Kingdom, and Switzerland
We apply access, rectification, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and consent-withdrawal rights under GDPR or equivalent UK and Swiss privacy regimes. Transfers outside the EEA, UK, or Switzerland use the safeguards listed in our sub-processor table.
United States
Forkin does not sell personal information, does not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and does not sell consumer health data. US residents may access consumer health data, withdraw consent, and request deletion, including under Washington and Nevada consumer-health-data laws where they apply.
Canada and Quebec
We handle Canadian users' personal information under PIPEDA and, where applicable, substantially similar provincial privacy laws. For Quebec, we publish the French version of the Terms, Privacy Policy, and related notices through the same digital flow. We maintain governance policies, an analysis of transfers outside Quebec, a confidentiality incident register, and transparency about profiling or automated decisions where those features apply.
Australia and New Zealand
We handle sensitive information, including health and diet-related information, only for Forkin purposes and with the required consents. Australian and New Zealand users may request access, correction, or deletion. If a security incident reaches the applicable legal notification threshold, we follow the applicable notification process.
Brazil and Mexico
For Brazil, we honour applicable LGPD rights, including confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, anonymisation or blocking where required by law, portability, information about sharing, and withdrawal of consent. For Mexico, we treat the Privacy Policy as Forkin's full privacy notice and honour ARCO rights: access, rectification, cancellation, and opposition.
Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Taiwan
For these markets, we apply applicable privacy rights under Japan APPI, South Korea PIPA, Singapore PDPA, Hong Kong PDPO, and Taiwan personal data protection law. This includes, where required by law, access, correction, deletion or suspension of processing, information about purposes and sharing, and safeguards for international transfers. Health and diet-related information is processed only for Forkin purposes and with the required consents.
Israel, priority Latin America, and South Africa
For Israel, Chile, Colombia, Argentina, Peru, and South Africa, we honour applicable local rights to access, rectify, delete or update, object, or withdraw consent where those rights apply. For South Africa, we also handle requests under POPIA. We use the same privacy@forkin.io channel for these requests.
