İade Politikası

1. Who you're buying from

Forkin is a product operated by Eutopix Labs Prosta Spółka Akcyjna (P.S.A.), KRS 0001237465, NIP 7011310736, REGON 544584646, with registered office at ul. Hoża 86/410, 00-682 Warszawa, Poland.

Web subscriptions to Forkin are processed through RevenueCat Web Billing, with Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland) acting as Merchant of Record. Stripe issues the invoice/receipt, collects VAT/GST in your country, and processes refunds on Eutopix Labs' behalf. Mobile subscriptions (iOS / Android) are sold through Apple and Google under their own billing terms — those refunds follow App Store / Play Store policy and are not covered by this page.

2. Cooling-off period (EU/UK and local consumer rights)

If you live in the European Union, the European Economic Area, or the United Kingdom and you are a consumer (not buying for a business), you have the right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) to withdraw from your subscription within 14 calendar days from the day the contract was concluded, without giving any reason and without penalty.

For Brazil, we also honour the applicable 7-day online-purchase right of regret for eligible consumer purchases. If another local consumer-protection law gives you a more favourable cancellation or refund right, that more favourable right applies.

To exercise this right, submit the first-party form at /refund-request or send an unambiguous statement that you want to withdraw to hello@forkin.io within those 14 days. You can use the email subject "Refund request — 14-day withdrawal" to speed up routing. The /refund-request form records your declaration timestamp and sends you an acknowledgement email.

Express consent at checkout (Art. 16(m)): at checkout you are asked to tick a separate, unticked box requesting that your subscription start immediately and acknowledging that, once the service has been fully performed, you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal. We begin performance during the cooling-off period only if you tick that box; if you do not, performance starts after the 14 days. Where the service has been fully performed at your express request, the withdrawal right ends; for services only partially performed, we refund pro-rata for the days you did not have access to the paid features. We never treat mere use of a feature as your consent to waive the right.

3. Refunds outside the 14-day window

We process refunds outside the statutory 14-day window in good faith for the following situations:

  • Accidental purchase or duplicate charge — full refund.
  • Service unavailable for an extended period (we define "extended" as more than 48 consecutive hours of paid features being non-functional) — pro-rata refund for the affected period.
  • Charge after cancellation due to a billing-system delay — full refund of the post-cancellation charge.
  • First annual renewal of a subscription you forgot to cancel — full refund if requested within 30 days of the renewal charge, provided no Pro-only features were used in that window.

4. Cancelling a subscription

You can cancel a web subscription at any time from your account billing settings on forkin.io (managed by RevenueCat / Stripe) — a management link is also included in every receipt email — or by using /refund-request or emailing hello@forkin.io with your subscription email and order number.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle. You keep access to the paid features until that date. We do not automatically refund the unused portion of an already-paid cycle — that is governed by the 14-day rule above for new subscriptions, and by the good-faith situations listed above for renewals.

Mobile subscriptions (iOS / Android) must be cancelled in your App Store / Play Store account. We cannot cancel those for you because the contract is between you and the store.

5. How a refund is processed

Refunds are returned to the original payment method used for the purchase. Stripe handles the actual transfer; bank-side timing is outside our control.

  • Card payments — usually visible on your statement within 5 to 10 business days.
  • PayPal — usually within 24 hours.
  • Bank transfer / SEPA — up to 14 business days depending on your bank.
  • Apple Pay / Google Pay — same window as the underlying card or account.

6. Mission-tier subscriptions (Supporter / Champion)

Supporter and Champion mission tiers include the same 14-day right of withdrawal as standard subscriptions. Note that the donation portion of a mission-tier payment is treated as part of the subscription fee for the purposes of refunds — when a refund is granted, the entire payment is returned, including the portion that would otherwise have been allocated to the partner non-profit pool.

Donations already disbursed to partner non-profits at the time of the refund request cannot be clawed back from the partner. In practice this means: if you request a refund within the same quarter as your payment, the full amount is returned; if you request after the quarterly pool has been disbursed (typically end of March / June / September / December), the donation portion has already left our control and only the subscription portion is refundable.

7. Chargebacks

If you don't recognise a Forkin charge on your statement, please contact hello@forkin.io before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We can usually identify the charge and resolve the issue faster than a chargeback dispute.

Chargebacks that turn out to be unwarranted (e.g. you forgot you subscribed) can result in suspension of the Forkin account, because Stripe and our payment partners treat repeated chargebacks as fraud risk. We will always work with you to find a resolution first.

8. How to request a refund

Use /refund-request or email hello@forkin.io with:

  • Your account email (the one on the receipt).
  • The order / transaction reference from your Stripe receipt.
  • A short reason for the request — required by law in some jurisdictions, helpful for us to improve the product everywhere else.

9. Disputes and out-of-court resolution

If we cannot resolve a refund dispute by email, EU consumers are entitled to out-of-court alternative dispute resolution under Directive 2013/11/EU (the ADR Directive).

In Poland (where Eutopix Labs is established), you can turn to the Inspekcja Handlowa (Trade Inspection Authority) at uokik.gov.pl for free out-of-court mediation, or to your municipal or district consumer ombudsman (miejski / powiatowy rzecznik konsumentów), who provides free assistance to consumers.

Consumers in other EU countries can contact the ADR body designated in their own country, or their local European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net, eccnet.eu) for free help with cross-border disputes.

Nothing on this page limits the statutory rights you have under the consumer-protection law of your country of residence. If the law of your country grants you a more favourable refund or withdrawal right than what is set out here, that more favourable right applies.
