For brands & manufacturers
Correct a product's data
Forkin's catalogue is built on open data (Open Food Facts, OpenBeautyFacts) enriched with our own analysis and machine learning. If you believe factual data we show about a product is wrong — its score, ingredients, allergens, dietary flags, nutrition values, name, or photo — tell us here and we'll review it.
How it works
- Submit the form below with the product's barcode (EAN), what's wrong, the correct value, and a supporting source where you can (a product spec, packaging photo, or regulatory filing).
- You get an instant confirmation email. A real person then acknowledges your request within 3 business days— we're a small EU startup, so every request is read by a human.
- We aim to complete an ordinary review within 14 business days. Complex cases or ones needing extra source verification can take longer.
- Where a request plausibly concerns materially inaccurate data, unlawful content, defamation, or safety/allergen information, we may temporarily label, restrict, or hide the contested data while we review the evidence.
Is this about how the score is calculated, rather than the underlying data? Our full scoring methodology is published — including every adjustment on top of the public Nutri-Score base — at forkin.io/methodology. The Forkin Score is our own composite assessment built on public methods; it is not the official Nutri-Score, and it is informational, not advice.
