Peanut Butter Rounds

Klargøring

Ingredienser

  • 64 stk.buttery round cracker
  • 240 gcreamy peanut butter
  • 500 gwhite almond bark, broken into pieces

Udstyr

wax paper · double boiler · fork · bowl · spatula · baking sheet

Fremgangsmåde

Trin for trin

  1. 1

Line a large baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.

    Ca. 1 min.

  2. 2

Spread peanut butter onto half of the crackers, then top each with a remaining cracker to create sandwiches.

    Ca. 14 min.

Kokkens note: Don't overfill the sandwiches or the peanut butter will squeeze out when dipping.

  3. 3

Melt the almond bark in a double boiler over simmering water, or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.

    Ca. 5 min.

Kokkens note: If using a microwave, be careful not to overheat the coating as it can become thick and difficult to work with.

  4. 4

Using a fork, dip each sandwich into the melted coating. Lift it out, tap gently on the side of the bowl to remove excess, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.

    Ca. 5 min.

Kokkens note: Work quickly as the coating will begin to set. If it thickens too much, gently reheat it for a few seconds.

  5. 5

Let the rounds rest at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the coating is completely firm.

    Ca. 30 min.
