  • 16 pcsfresh mozzarella ball, small (bocconcini or ciliegine)
  • 16 pcsfresh basil leaf
  • 2 tbspbalsamic glaze
  • 1 pinchsalt(optional)
  • 1 pinchblack pepper, freshly ground(optional)

The method

Step by step

    Drain the fresh mozzarella balls thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.

    Thread one cherry tomato onto a small skewer.

    Cook’s note: Use skewers that are about 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) long.

    Follow with one fresh basil leaf, folded in half if large, and then one fresh mozzarella ball.

    Repeat the sequence with another cherry tomato, basil leaf, and mozzarella ball.
