Where the money goes.
Essential and Pro reserve 2% of net subscription revenue for animal sanctuaries, wildlife & ocean conservation, rising to 5% for Supporter and 10% for Champion, plus 30% of net revenue from every My World cosmetic purchase. Transfers are normally quarterly, with the split chosen by mission members. This page is the receipt for every euro sent.

How the amount is calculated
Net revenue = price minus VAT, payment and store or channel fees, refunds and chargebacks. As revenue is received, we reserve 2% of that figure for Essential and Pro, 5% for Supporter and 10% for Champion, plus 30% of net revenue from every My World cosmetic purchase, and pool the result. Each quarter, mission members vote on which of three causes — animal sanctuaries, wildlife & habitat, or oceans & marine life — gets the bigger share. Transfers are normally made quarterly. A transfer may be delayed only while a legal, banking, sanctions/AML or recipient-verification issue prevents a lawful transfer. The reserved amount carries forward, and both the delay and eventual payment are disclosed in the quarterly impact report.
Auditing
All numbers on this page come from a single source of truth — our accounting system at Stripe and our payout ledger at our Polish bank. You can request a redacted audit copy at hello@forkin.io.
Where you subscribe changes how much arrives
The plan costs about the same wherever you subscribe in your country — but the fees don't. On the App Store and Google Play, the stores keep up to 30% of every subscription; on forkin.io, card fees are about 5–6%. Because our giving is a share of what actually reaches us, a subscription bought on the web leaves more in the pot for the cause. We'd rather be open about that than quietly keep the difference.
