Ingredients
- 64 pcsbuttery round cracker
- 240 gcreamy peanut butter
- 500 gwhite almond bark, broken into pieces
Equipment
wax paper · double boiler · fork · bowl · spatula · baking sheet
The method
Step by step
- 1
Line a large baking sheet with wax paper or parchment paper.
About 1 min
- 2
Spread peanut butter onto half of the crackers, then top each with a remaining cracker to create sandwiches.
About 14 min
Cook’s note: Don't overfill the sandwiches or the peanut butter will squeeze out when dipping.
- 3
Melt the almond bark in a double boiler over simmering water, or in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
About 5 min
Cook’s note: If using a microwave, be careful not to overheat the coating as it can become thick and difficult to work with.
- 4
Using a fork, dip each sandwich into the melted coating. Lift it out, tap gently on the side of the bowl to remove excess, and place it on the prepared baking sheet.
About 5 min
Cook’s note: Work quickly as the coating will begin to set. If it thickens too much, gently reheat it for a few seconds.
- 5
Let the rounds rest at room temperature or in the refrigerator until the coating is completely firm.
About 30 min
