  • 30 mloyster sauce
  • 15 mlsesame oil
  • 1 tspsugar
  • 1 tspcornstarch
  • 30 mlwater

  • 2 pcsgreen onion, sliced

The method

Step by step

    Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions until al dente.

    Cook’s note: Do not overcook the noodles, as they will cook further in the wok.

    Drain the noodles, rinse with cold water to prevent sticking, and set aside.

    In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, sugar, cornstarch, and water to create the lo mein sauce.

    Heat the vegetable oil in a large wok or skillet over medium-high heat.

    Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the hot oil and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
