We do not sell or share your personal information

Forkin does not sell personal information for monetary value, and does not sharepersonal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We have not done so in the preceding 12 months. There is therefore nothing to opt out of by default — this is our standing position, not a setting you have to change.

We also do not use your sensitive personal information (such as health-relevant or dietary information) for advertising, cross-context behavioural advertising, or unrelated profiling. Any health-relevant inference, such as a target or progress estimate, is used only to provide the feature you requested. We do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own direct-marketing purposes.

Exercising your rights

California residents (and users everywhere) can request to know, delete, correct, or limit the use of their personal information. You can do so by:

• using the in-app controls (Settings → Account → Export my data / Delete my account); or
• emailing privacy@forkin.io; or
• submitting a request through our data request form.

We respond within 45 days (extendable by a further 45 days for complex requests). We verify your identity using the email address associated with your account. A California resident may use an authorised agent; the agent must provide signed written permission and we may verify the resident’s identity directly. We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
